Kerygma 4 Kids Middle School Edition is a series of dynamic evangelization lessons for youth grades 6 through 8. Middle School years are a pivotal time for young people, during which they face numerous changes and challenges. These lessons connect the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the lives of Middle School youth.

Kerygma 4 Kids Middle School Edition uses guided meditation, small group discussion, and hands-on activities, to help youth encounter Christ personally and presents the kerygma – the Good News that Jesus died and rose to save us from sin – in a powerful and age-appropriate way. This DVD set features the videos for Middle School I, II, and III.

What is it and what does it do?

Kerygma 4 Kids is a new evangelization tool for youth that proclaims the Good News of Jesus Christ in a unique and engaging way.

What are the benefits?

Through Kerygma 4 Kids youth will experience the nearness of God and come to understand the cross of Christ in a deep and personal way. Kerygma 4 Kids will lead the youth into a deeper friendship with the risen Christ and equip them to share the Good News with others.

Structure and purpose

Kerygma 4 Kids contains one evangelization lesson for each grade. It was developed to help you incorporate evangelization into your current faith formation program. Each grade-level lesson proclaims the basic gospel message through a unique theme which can be viewed below.

Each grade (K-8) has one lesson which is divided into 3 segments: Discover God's Love, Understanding Sin and the Good News of Jesus Christ, and Respond and Invite Jesus into your Life.

Middle School (6-8): A one 90 minute lesson for each grade

• Discover God's Love (30 min)
• Understanding Sin and the Good News of Jesus Christ (30 min)
• Respond and Invite Jesus into your Life (30 min)

Elements of Each Lesson:

• Helps youth discover God's personal love for them

• Includes guided meditations on Sacred Scripture to help youth encounter the risen Christ
